I'm at my best with my camera and a person. Candid portraiture just comes naturally to me and being able to work one-on-one with someone to bring out their best, is always an easy & natural thing for me, along with having fun at the same time!

I offer candid, creative portraiture in most any event/situation you can imagine. Teamed with a photojournalistic style and artistic editing to give your photos something edgier than your standard photograph, I strive to capture moments you may miss but will want to treasure forever... it's not just about the big moments, the little moments can be just as magical.

I'm available for many different types of shoots/events... headshots, family portraits, baby/toddler/children's portraits of all kinds, fashion portraits, promotional, senior portraits, birthday parties, family reunions, engagement parties & portraits, pet portraits, and of course -- weddings! the list doesn't stop here.. please contact me if you have ideas!

My style is very journalistic and candid. Even during a portrait session, I avoid too much posing -- it's just not natural. When documenting a wedding, I stay out of your way and capture the day as you live it, catching many moments you may miss while living in the moment.

I prefer outdoor locations with natural lighting.. any session we set up, you can pick your location or I'd be glad to recommend one!

I travel within 40 miles of the Wilmington area with no additional travel fee. I make frequent trips to the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area or will make a trip specifically for you for a reduced rate. I also travel frequently to Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta & New York.
